The Surrogates

Our surrogates in the USA are American residents residing in various cities. Each undergoes a thorough screening process before joining our program, ensuring they’ve previously experienced a successful pregnancy resulting in a healthy baby. The embryo transfer, conducted at Western Medical Institute in LA, marks the beginning of their pregnancy journey. However, throughout the pregnancy, they return home to their families and continue their usual routines.

The Egg Donors

Parvati Family presents a diverse range of South African and American egg donors. Each egg donor associated with Parvati Family undergoes rigorous psychological and medical screenings. Intended Parents (IPs) receive comprehensive profiles of the donors, including their genetic background, medical history, educational and employment backgrounds, interests, hobbies, and family medical history. Photographs of the donors are also available in their profiles. Intended Parents have the option to select either fresh or frozen egg donations from the Parvati Egg Bank, depending on their chosen plan and program requirements

Pregnancy Protocols

The surrogate collaborates with her local physician in her home state for pregnancy monitoring. Our pregnancy monitoring protocol adheres to stringent standards, encompassing monthly ultrasounds, nuchal translucency assessments, GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test), Anomaly scans, among other necessary procedures.

Legal

Within our plans, we handle all legal aspects on your behalf. This encompasses drafting contracts with both donors and surrogates, as well as facilitating the issuance of a birth certificate bearing your names. We ensure a seamless coordination of all necessary legal procedures for your peace of mind.

What happens after the birth?

Following the birth, our experienced legal team expedites the inclusion of the relevant name/s on the birth certificate, contingent upon the surrogate’s state of residence. Once the birth certificate is issued, our legal experts guide you through the process of applying for a US passport for your baby. Expedited passport services are available, especially if supported by your airline ticket details. Upon obtaining your baby’s passport, they can travel home with you using a tourist visa. We recommend seeking guidance from a local attorney in your home country to facilitate the citizenship process for your child.

HIV+ Intended Parents

At Parvati Family, we take pride in leading the way for individuals and couples who are HIV+. Our mission represents a positive shift in societal stereotypes, allowing these families to seamlessly integrate into our inclusive community. With the aid of advanced fertility technology, those living with HIV can now undergo IVF procedures and conceive perfectly healthy children. Prior to the ‘sperm washing’ process, Intended Parents undergo specific tests at our clinic. This phase ensures safety and prepares for the subsequent sperm-washing procedure, an internationally recognized safe practice. The safety of sperm washing was affirmed by the US Government’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in May 2017. After assessing 11,500 assisted conception cycles using this technique, where neither women nor offspring contracted HIV, the CDC endorsed the procedure for its safety.
